If you have chronic or complex health needs, you may be eligible for chiropractic care under the Medicare Enhanced Primary Care plan.
Ask your general practitioner to provide you with a referral to receive this benefit.
You can elect to have chiropractic treatment for a work-related injury. Your injury must be reported to your employer prior to your first chiropractic visit.
You will be responsible for your fees until liability for the injury has been accepted by the insurer.
The Insurance Commission of WA (ICWA) provides payment for chiropractic care for injuries sustained in motor vehicle collisions.
They do not cover the cost of care if you were the driver responsible for the accident. You or your driver must report the accident to the police and inform the Insurance Commission (Tel 9264 3333).
You will be responsible for your fees until the ICWA accepts liability for your injuries.
Most Private Health Funds provide plans that contribute to chiropractic care. These vary widely depending on your level of cover.
Please check with your provider to determine how much you are able to claim.
We have HICAPS facilities that perform your claim transactions at the time of your visit, so you only need pay the gap amount.
